Building bridges for dependent visa holders
This project focused on a complete rebrand for WE INDEPENDENT, a non-profit organization supporting dependent visa holders in the United States. Recognizing the importance of visual identity in building community and fostering belonging, the rebrand aimed to authentically reflect their core message: 'Where 'I' Becomes 'We.'
Collaborated with Seri Kwag
WE INDEPENDENT is an non-profit organization to offer dependent visa holders the tools, community, and resources they need to regain purpose, develop new skills, and feel confident in navigating life in the U.S. The goal is to foster a sense of belonging and ensure they can engage and contribute meaningfully.
New logo of WE INDEPENDENT symbolizes connection, support, and empowerment.
Its design resembles uplifting arms, reflecting a welcoming community that invites women to find their voice and connect within a supportive network.
The intertwined “w” and “i” represent the bond between individuals and the collective, while the fluid form and warm color evoke energy and inclusivity.
Our new brand guidelines establish a cohesive visual identity system that empowers WE INDEPENDENT to stand out with purpose. Through a carefully crafted combination of elements, we create a distinctive presence that resonates with our audience. Our vibrant color palette and empowering photography library work in harmony to convey our core message: a warm, welcoming community where everyone belongs.
Guided by the mission to support dependent visa holders. Messaging across every platform creates a sense of belonging and visibility, ensuring every individual feels valued and supported. We craft a visual and emotional connection that uplifts and empowers, making each interaction a step toward independence and self-discovery.
